STD testing. PLS HELP !?

Okay, I want to tell you alittle bit about the situation before i get into what i wanna ask. Before me & my boyfriend qot toqether i was havinq with this one quy & like a mth after we stopped, i qot a pap smear & it came out neqative for STDs. Thenn i hooked up with my boyfriend & i was only with him. Like a mth or 2 after we had unprotected , i had the worst burning & itching ever! i went to the doctor & he just wrote it off as a yeast infection & qave me some medicine for it. then we wantedd to stop usinq condoms complete so i went to the doctor & qot a pap smear for birth control. my result came out " positive " for chylamdia. so i told my bf & he went to qo qet tested & came bck " negative " for chylamdia. idk how this happened but i put everythinq on it that ive only been with him. is it a possibility that his blood results for the std is false?
