Suggestions on occupying children at a BBQ?

My fiance & I are having a BBQ in a month and we're inviting 7-9 kids--Problem...how to keep them out of trouble & not pester their folks. We don't have a pool but we're thinking about getting a mini pool (blow up kind) for the 1-5 y/o's--Maybe squirt guns for the boys....what about the girls? I'm stumped...? HELP!?
